Google Translate
The Google Translate element lets you translate your website by putting the element on one of your pages. After that visitors of your website can simply select one of the provided languages and the content of all of your web pages will be automatically translated.
To edit the Google Translate element:
- To open Settings, please select the first icon from the element's menu.:
- Choose language of your website – use the dropdown menu to select the default language of your website.
- Translation language – choose what languages you want your website to be translated to. Only the languages you select will appear on the Google Translate element.
- All languages – if you want your website to be available for translation to all languages that Google provides, check this box.
- Specific languages – if you want your website to be available for translation only for certain languages, check this box. After that select the desired languages.
- Display Mode – select how you want your banner to be displayed on the page
- Inline – choose between vertical, horizontal and simple view. In simple view you have the option to hide the icon.
- Automatically – The translation banner will be displayed automatically to users languages other than the languages of your page
- Advanced – check the advanced settings you want to activate
- Automatically display translation banner to users languages other than the languages of your page
- Your page contains content in multiple language
- Track translation traffic using Google Analytics
